Day 10 - 27 June 2013
10 days done! I feel great!Today was weigh-in day. Last Thursday, I weighed in at 225 lbs.
One week later, what do you all think I weighed?
Drum roll........ 215 lbs! I lost 10 lbs in one week! It CAN be done! Have I used enough exclamation marks?!?!
I am stunned. I feel great. I am eating healthy and working out, drinking plenty of water, and the weight is dropping off. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I am excited for Insanity tomorrow.
I also won the Biggest Loser competition at work for this week.

I don't know if the others were really taking this competition seriously, but now they know that I am in this for the WIN!
In case you were wondering, there is a $14 Amazon.com gift card up for grabs each week. Whoever loses the largest percentage of weight for that week wins the gift card.
After 12 weeks, the person with the highest total percentage of weight lost is the winner. Each of the other 6 participants has to wear a shirt with the winner's face on it to work.
I can't wait to my face all over work!
Okay, moving on to the next week, and the next 10 lbs. --
Today's workout was a 3.8 mile run this morning and almost 2 hours of basketball tonight. For food, I overdid the sodium quite a bit, but tomorrow is cheat day, so bring on the brownies!! - just kidding... but seriously...
